Apple opened as a Glastonbury Bed & Breakfast in April 2005 by Julia and David, who ran it very successfully. With their help and guidance, Janet and Stefan took over running of the Bed & Breakfast in 2015 and re-named it Apple Fairy.
Our aim is to share our love of fairies with all of the visitors to our home to give them a unique stay. The house is full of fairy art and crafts by local artists, including beautiful paintings by the world renowned artist Linda Ravenscroft and our narnia room has been brought to life by the work of Soso Erlenkamp and Tommy Elswood.
where it says about local artists can we put about Narnia Room has been bought to life by the wonderful work of Soso Erlenkamp who created Mr Tumnas and the beaver and Tommy Elswood who has painted the Narnia Mural.
The house has been described as an elegant Victorian house with a modern touch. It was built in 1898 and retains many period features including original stripped pine floors and doors throughout. The rooms are of a good size, with high ceilings and original sash windows, and - most importantly - they are clean and comfortable. The decor is an eclectic blend of contemporary and traditional style.
One of the reasons we chose this house was that it has a lovely feel to it - something many people remark on when they visit. We hope that these happy vibes, together with its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and our warm welcome, will help to make you stay extra special.
